Stitchfolk sometimes links to tools, yarn, needles, hooks, and other supplies through affiliate programs. This disclosure applies to links on pattern pages, the partners directory, guides, and related editorial content on both public hosts.
1. Programs we may use
The current Stitchfolk supply directory may use the following programs:
Amazon Services LLC Associates Program.
Michaels affiliate program.
Knit Picks Creators program.
2. How commission works
When you click a tagged link and complete an eligible purchase, Stitchfolk may receive a commission from the vendor. The price to you does not increase because of the link, and Stitchfolk does not receive your payment-card details from that vendor.
A commission is not guaranteed; tracking, eligibility, returns, and vendor terms control whether one is paid.
Affiliate income helps support pattern writing, testing, photography, editing, and site operations.
Vendor privacy, returns, shipping, and product terms apply to the purchase you make on the vendor site.
3. Editorial independence
Affiliate relationships do not buy a favorable review or guarantee placement. Stitchfolk chooses supplies based on fit, material, usefulness, availability, and maker experience, and may link to a non-affiliate source when that is the better recommendation.
Recommendations reflect Stitchfolk's editorial judgment at the time published.
Prices, inventory, formulas, and vendor policies can change after publication.
You are free to use a substitute supply and do not need to purchase through a tagged link.
4. Link treatment and disclosure
Affiliate links may be marked with a nearby disclosure and use sponsored/nofollow link treatment in the site markup. A sponsored marker describes the commercial relationship; it does not mean the vendor wrote or approved the recommendation.

A link opening in a new tab remains subject to the destination's terms and privacy policy.
If a relationship changes, the owner should update this disclosure and affected editorial copy.
